Global Journal Top 100 Best NGOsCARE International is thrilled to announce we are ranked in the world’s top 10 NGOs in two separate lists this week.
The Global Journal published its first ever Top 100 NGOs list. The list ranks a wide variety of organisations from the non government, not for profit, world aiming to move beyond outdated conceptions of what an NGO is and does. CARE International UK is ranked 7th in the list, which is considerably higher than most organisations in our sector.
In another list, published by research resource Philanthropedia, 54 experts working in the field put together a list of 11 non-profit organisations they consider to be “doing high impact work” in international emergency response. The experts were asked to look at non profits working in slow and fast onset disasters, and at response, preparation, and recovery. CARE is proud to have come fourth in this list.
CARE International UK CEO, Geoffrey Dennis, says “I am delighted with CARE’s position in these lists.”
